PPF paint protection film

Paint protection film generally consists of a tough, clear, flexible acrylic, urethane or polyurethane film. It is applied to the surfaces of a car.

It protects the paint of a vehicle especially from stone chips, but also from scratches and other damage.

It was originally developed for military purposes during the Vietnam War. It was applied to the rotor blades of helicopters, which were susceptible to damage.

We use stencils that are designed to fit the vehicle exactly. The body is carefully cleaned and prepared for application. The individual sections are applied by hand using water and a lubricating solution to push the film into place. Once the film is in place, the liquid underneath is squeezed out. We then wrap the film around the edges of the components so that the filming is barely visible.

You can decide whether you want to cover only the most vulnerable areas such as bumpers, hood and wheel wells or the entire vehicle.

It depends on the desired work. It can take from one day to a week.

Ideally, a paint protection film is applied when a car is new, before it wears out.

Our paint protection films have a self-healing effect. Damage or scratches that could not penetrate the film can be corrected by heat.
